Pork Dry Rub

My Pork Dry Rub was my first creation, and was developed to enhance the flavor of the meat. My goal was not overpower it as you find in many rubs on the market today. This has more sugars so it is very well matched with the sweetness of the meat. There are unique flavors that come from the spice mix. This combination plus hours in the smoker makes Ribs the king of any meal. No Sauce needed here! My rule is if you need to sauce for the Ribs then your Rub has failed you. I smoke a lot of Shoulder too and after 16 hours in the smoker this rub creates a fantastic bark and when pulled it creates many flavorful crystals which really enhance the flavor of a pulled pork sandwich.

    I recently used this dry rub on 2 pork shoulders. My friends & family raved about the flavor & couldn’t get enough. The best rub I’ve ever used bar none! I am a forever loyal customer! It makes me excited to smoke again with the other meats!

    The combination of spice is perfect. I’ve barbequed pork butt roast on the rotisserie for years. These transplanted Alabama folks must have pulled pork for any important occasion. I put a generous amount of Bryan’s Pork Dry Rub on the meat, the night before cooking, and wrap tightly. It creates an amazing roast that is as close to home as I have experienced. We’re forever customers!

    My wife and I had some baby backs with this rub on them and loved then so much I literally went out and bought a smoker the next weekend. I’ve been smoking ever sense and using Bryan’s rub.

    Great rub. Made two pork shoulders and the rub was fantastic. I also put some of the rub into the BBQ sauce. Didn’t even have bread for this meal. I wanted people to taste the pork “as is”. Can’t wait to try the other rubs on a beef brisket.
